چکیده
Employing cables with strong flexibility and unidirectional restraints to operate a camera platform leads stability issues for robot long-span considering the cable mass. Cable tensions, which are constraints platform, have critical influence on of robot. Consequently, this paper focuses two special problems minimum tension distributions (MCTDs) within workspace sensitivity analysis (CTSA) by taking mass into account, can be used investigate Firstly, three distribution indices (MCTDIs) were proposed An important matter is that MCTDIs, represent weakest employed investigating In addition, specified (SMCTW) introduced, where when located at arbitrary position meets given requirement. Secondly, CTSA model index (CTSAI) grey relational method, in mechanism degree positions relative tensions was investigated detail. Lastly, reasonableness presented MCTDIs method applications supported performing some simulation studies.

Stability Analysis and Robust PID Control of Cable Driven Robots Considering Elasticity in Cables
In this paper robust PID control of fully-constrained cable driven parallel manipulators with elastic cables is studied in detail. In dynamic analysis, it is assumed that the dominant dynamics of cable can be approximated by linear axial spring. To develop the idea of control for cable robots with elastic cables, a robust PID control for cable driven robots with ideal rigid cables is firstly de...

متن کاملCable-suspended planar parallel robots with redundant cables: controllers with positive cable tensions
Cable-suspended robots are structurally similar to parallel actuated robots but with the fundamental difference that cables can only pull the end-effector but not push it. From a scientific point of view, this feature makes feedback control of cable-suspended robots lot more challenging than their counterpart parallel-actuated robots. In the case with redundant cables, feedback control laws can...
متن کاملInterval Analysis of Controllable Workspace for Cable Robots
Workspace analysis is one of the most important issues in the robotic parallel manipulator design. However, the unidirectional constraint imposed by cables causes this analysis more challenging in the cabledriven redundant parallel manipulators. Controllable workspace is one of the general workspace in the cabledriven redundant parallel manipulators due to the dependency on geometry parameter...
متن کاملTension Optimization for a Cable-Driven Parallel Robot with Non- Negligible Cable Mass
This paper addresses the cable tension distributions of a cable-driven parallel robot with non-negligible cable mass for large dimension mechanisms. A well-known model which describes the profile of a cable under the action of its own weight allows us to take the cable sags into account. In addition, an approach to computing the cable tensions is presented, in which there are two major steps to...
